Angelo Garcia or simply “Angelo” was born on March 28th in NYC , ever since he can talk he has been singing. It was something that has always come natural to him and by the time Angelo was 7 he began performing in school plays and singing publicly.

He has been professionally performing in the entertainment industry, creating music, acting, modeling, and touring the world since age 11 when he was lucky enough to be part of the world famous boy band that Ricky Martin started in “Menudo”. He recorded 3 Hit albums with the band and his career in “Menudo” evolved into a solo career where he could truly be a hands on artist. He writes all of his own material and loves creating music.

Angelo is currently working on a solo project with an amazing music producer Ahmed King who has done music for famous artists such as “Shakira”. Together they have created a fun, edgy, and catchy electro pop sound that he feels is a signature sound that represents who he is as an artist.

Why Am I Developing This Project Independently?

A good question I am sure all my friends and fans are asking. With the Economy & Internet Piracy plaguing the Music Industry, Record Labels are not developing artists the way they once were and are reluctant to signing artists that do not have ready work for distribution and promotion.

Angelopop.com was created because I am extremely passionate about music and can not see my world without being able to have music as my creative outlet. That is why I am reaching out to all of my friends, fans and the entire world to help me make my new album a reality. On this site you will find the first two demo tracks I have recorded for the album “Scandalous” and I am excited to share them with all of you.

These tracks represent where we want to take the entire production and is a little taste of what is to come. I have already written the entire album (14 songs all together) and it is some of my best work. Recording an album is not an easy task, it requires more than just the talent, songs, and an amazing producer. It requires a budget in order to finance the creative process and make it a tangible reality. This is where you come in, please sample these songs and if you believe in this project as much as I do I urge you to help fund my dream and allow me to create and inspire through my music. I look forward to sharing this new album and phase of my career with all of you.

An artist can only continue creating and releasing music with the support of the community, please support me in doing what I love to do which is to entertain my fans! It does not matter how much you can donate, every dollar can add up to a completed track on the album.
